Ⅰ. Historical background

Nevertheless, the benefits of the information age are real. In the information age, people living in different corners can be more closely linked, so that people can truly share public information resources. It has promoted the development of many industries. The birth and development of laser has not only brought mankind into the communication era, but also incorporated many industries, such as computer (mainly data memory and input/output equipment), film and television, manufacturing, aerospace/aviation, material processing, medical treatment, entertainment, scientific research, security protection, military/counter-terrorism, handicrafts, display and printing, etc. As an innovative core component in the related products in the above application fields, the laser promotes the new development of the above industries. Laser products cover a wide range of fields. According to incomplete statistics, its annual trading volume has reached nearly 10 billion US dollars. According to the report of the magazine at the beginning of 2003, the sales volume of domestic laser products in 2002 was 2.8 billion yuan. Obviously, many special product parts and intermediate test products may not be included. The above data are low, because optoelectronic products and precision technology products related to laser products are very scattered and abundant, so it is difficult to make a relatively complete statistics. Ⅱ. Laser Optoelectronics Market Status

1 Laser product classification
